Sneak-Peek: Spring Break Projects for Kids

Spring Break is right around the corner! Yeah! Here is a sneak-peek at some of the projects I will be showing you how to make with your kids.

1)  Game box with score pad.  (Just wait until you see what is inside!)

2)  Supply box with games and dividers.

3)  Tin box with mini scrapbook.

While you're out-and-about this weekend, start looking for these supplies so you will be ready to go!  (You can also order supplies HERE.  Plus, you'll get free stuff for every $50 of supplies you order.  Fun!)

**  plastic containers, tin boxes with lids

**  dice

**  mini notebooks

**  golf pencils

**  mini clear beads (the kind you put in glass jars for decoration) that have flat bottoms

**  decorative paper, embellishments, ribbon

**  sticky-back magnets (thin, not too thick)

Make Your Own Embellishment

If you want to add some fancy flashy fluff to your project, you don't have to spend money on store-bought stuff.  Just make your own embellishment!  Take a look at this perfect card made by my friend Nancy.

Nancy stamped the key with black ink onto silver cardstock.   Then she cut it out and attached it to the gorgeous ribbon on the card.  Nifty, huh?

If you don't have silver cardstock, you can stamp the key and then emboss it with silver embossing powder.  It's a fun way to add an embellishment and make your card or project even more beautiful!

Meet Nancy & Her Craft Room

left to right:  Nancy and Charlene

My BFF Nancy has the best craft room ever.  Take a look at how she has it organized:

The Desk Space/Wall/Closet

Not only does Nancy have every craft product imaginable, she also has a place for everything...and everything is in it's place.

The Wall/Murphy Bed/Bookshelf

Take a look at all of her stamps and paper.  Isn't she the best?  Whenever I visit her, I HAVE to go into her room and look at and touch everything.
